I’m doing the yummy tummy dance over here and it’s not even noon. The little women and I stopped at Myesha’s for breakfast and as always we were warmly greeted by the staff. Did I ever tell y’all that it feels like “Cheers” when I walk in? Everybody knows your name. LOL!
Anyway, Miss Jayne was there making some raspberry mint chocolates for her Spring chocolate collection and asked if I’d like to sample? Uh….do birds fly? Y’all know FREE and FOOD are two of my favorite words. LOL! Jayne told me that her mother has an herb garden so she’s incorporated a few into her Spring chocolates. What a great concept.
There are four different chocolates in the Spring box set – classic dark, rosemary kissed orange, raspberry mint and lavender lemon white chocolate. Those of you who know me know that I am all about aesthetics. These chocolates are BEAUTIFUL! The pictures I posted don’t really do them justice. I tried the rosemary because it is my absolute favorite herb. Jayne told me that there may not be enough in it for me since I love it so much. Rosemary can be quite pungent so she used just enough to flavor and not overpower.
I need to stop right here and take Sunshine to the hospital. I slapped her way too hard this time, y’all. Baaaaaaabaayyy! THESE.CHOCOLATES.ARE.SINFUL! Oh Jesus, please forgive me! I’m doing the yummy tummy dance all over again. Seriously, y’all. She uses quality chocolate, fresh herbs and real fruit in these chocolates.
Let me just run it down for y’all:
Raspberry Mint – hands down, my favorite. Dark chocolate, raspeberry puree and fresh mint leaves. All of these flavors comingle effortlessly. Perfect, chocolate heaven.
Rosemary Kissed Orange – anyone who likes rosemary knows that it pairs perfectly with citrus. Jayne couldn’t have gone wrong with this combination. It is absolutely divine. There’s orange peel and fresh rosemary leaves infused into the chocolate. Again, the citrus and rosemary balance one another nicely.
Lavender Lemon White Chocolate – yummy! Once you bite into it, the lavender hits your nose and then your tongue and then the lemon just rounds it out. Another winner.
Classic dark chocolate – really, do I need to say more?
